JAPAN, THE FIRST STOP

Rio Carnival, "the greatest party on earth" was inaugurated on September 2013 and remained open to the public for five weeks.

The exhibition hall was located at the 60th floor of Sunshine 60, within the Sunshine city Complex in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. StudioNUMA worked in partnership with the Japanese firm Brain Corporation. Rio Carnival displayed luxurious costumes curated by Brazilian stylist Nelcimar Pires and the renowned Japanese fashion designer Junko Koshino. It also featured  "Queen for a day" an exhibition of forty photographs taken at Rio's sambodrome in recent years by Omar Montenegro.
